Grinnell College Athletics

After a phenomenal weekend performance, Grinnell College's Samantha Chu '24 has been named the Midwest Conference Softball Position Player of the Week.
 
Chu, a third baseman from Redwood City, Calif. (Carlmont), helped Grinnell stay unbeaten in league play with two victories apiece over Lawrence University and Beloit College. She hit .727, going 8-of-11 with five RBIs, two doubles, triple, homer and three runs scored.
 
Additionally, Chu had a 1.364 slugging percentage and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage at the hot spot. This marks the second time this season Chu has earned the award.
