Box Score GRINNELL, Iowa – The Grinnell College women's soccer team celebrated its first home match of 2014 in perfect fashion Saturday afternoon, topping regionally-ranked Augsburg College 1-0 in overtime at Springer Field.
Grinnell's game-winner came in the 99th minute, with just 26 seconds left in overtime, when
Kitt Richards '18 found the back of the net.
Carolyn Silverman '17, who got the assist, received a pass on the near side and dribbled down to the end line inside of the box. She then crossed to Richards, who kicked it into the goal to secure the win for the hosts.
Grinnell improved to 2-3 on the season, while Augsburg – ranked seventh in the North Region – fell to 4-2.

Katy Oldach '16 had a flawless performance, coming up with 10 saves on the day.
Richards had three shots for Grinnell, while
Eva Smith '16, Silverman,
Kristen Stacey '16 and
Nora Sahel '17 took one each.
The Pioneers entertain Coe College Tuesday at Springer Field. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
