Box Score GRINNELL, Iowa – Sunday's women's soccer contest at Springer Field saw two teams battle 90 minutes to a virtual stalemate.
All that separated the two was a penalty kick goal in the 27th minute as the visiting University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titans defeated Grinnell College 1-0 in non-conference action.
Both teams took nine shots, with
Francesca Varias '18 and
Kitt Richards '18 taking two each for Grinnell with both by Varias on goal.

Lauren Edwards '20,
Valencia Alvarez '20 and
Eliza Bunnell '19 had one each.
Regan Kasprak '19 played the contest at keeper for Grinnell, coming up with six saves.
The Pioneers, who are 2-3, play Edgewood College in Madison, Wis., next Sunday. UW-Oshkosh improve to 1-2-1.
