Grinnell women's team has 2 runners enter program's top 10 at San Marcos meet

SAN MARCOS, Calif. - A pair of Grinnell College entries entered the program's top 10 chart with season-opening outdoor performances Friday at the Margum Invitational hosted by Cal State San Marcos.


Morgan Karow '26 ran the 5000-meter race in 18 minutes, 2.55 seconds, good for fifth all-time at Grinnell and the second-best in the program since 2007. She was fourth in the race.

Also, Diana Barba '26 ran the 3000 steeplechase in 12:25.35, which is 10th all-time at Grinnell.

Keely Miyamoto '26 ran the 5000 in 18:12.78, which was good for eighth place, and Hannah Roark '26 finished in 18:26.22 to place 14th. Other Pioneer finishers were Talia Harrison '26 (18:56.25) and Sophia Ford '25 (19:58.81).
