Hannah Dykstra named to NFCA All-Region Third Team

Pioneer shortstop has guided team to plenty of success

GRINNELL, Iowa - For the fourth season in a row, Grinnell College has been recognized on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region Team.

Hannah Dykstra '25, who recently wrapped up a spectacular career, was named to the Region IX third team at the shortstop position.

Dykstra recently repeated as an All-Midwest Conference first-team selection white helping the Pioneers to a fourth consecutive trip to the league's postseason tournament.

She hit .383 this season, going 46-of-120 at the plate with 11 doubles, a triple and homer. Dykstra led the team in RBIs with 35, stolen bases with eight and bases on balls with 26.

Dykstra, whose name is listed on Grinnell's game, season and career leaderboard 37 times, led Grinnell defensively with 100 assists and was second in chances with 182. She posted a .962 fielding percentage.
