Box Score ST. PAUL, Minnesota - The Pioneer football team moved to 0-4 on the season with a 34-0 loss to Macalester College Saturday.

The Scots' Cody Petrich completed two touchdown passes to Alec Beatty to open the scoring in the first half. Jeremy Stephan rushed for two consecutive touchdowns at the end of the second quarter and beginning of the third, then Reese Bresson caught a 33 yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter for Macalester.

Grinnell's Carson Dunn '18 recorded 105 rushing yards on 30 attempts, while Erik Henderson '19 caught 6 passes for 73 yards. Quarterback Tony Bergida '20 was 13-37 with 125 yards in the air.
Ryan Slager '19 recorded 12 tackles, and Kent Hoover '17 brought down 10. Hassan Thompson '19 picked up 1.5 sacks. Max Hill '20 also caught one interception.

The Pioneers next take on Illinois College in Jacksonville on October 1st.
